Halloween 2012

Hope everybody had a wonderful Halloween, I know I did! Last Friday I had a great party with my Heros group (social group for young adults with disabilities). Wednesday at the Spokane Guild School, I read ‘Clifford’s First Halloween’ and then Trick-or-Treated around the building with my preschool class.

Locks of Love Haircut

Me and my hair!

I finally decided to get my haircut and cut off 12″ to send to Locks of Love.

Bloomsday 2012

Living in Spokane; an annual spring tradition is the running of the Lilac Bloomsday Road Race. May 5th marked the 36th running of the 12 kilometer journey. Mom pushed me in my jogger which dad, Grandpa Swenson and I made several years ago and we were joined by 47,882 other bloomies. We completed the course in 2 hours and 15 minutes. To read more about our fun run check out their website at www.bloomsdayrun.org.

Spokane Guilds’ School & Neuromuscular Center

When I was 11 months old, I started attending the Spokane Guilds’ School & Neuromuscular Center. I received physical, occupational and speech therapy until I was 3 years old. Community service has been an important part of my life and I am able to give back to the Guild School. I read to the preschool class Wednesday mornings, programming the books into my Vanguard. They really enjoyed it when I read my book.

New Computer

Last week I got a new computer! YEA! No more waiting forever for stuff to load (and then dying) and the keyboard actually works now! Now I will be able to post more blogs!

Let the good times roll!

I’m getting ready to participate in Special Olympic Bowling Tournement the weekend of October 22.

Hi – Welcome to my new website!

I am just getting this started. This is a lot of work, but fun too! I’m writing a book – so come back and I’ll tell you about it.

Bye
